VOTERS TO CHOOSE NEW TEXAS HOUSE REPRESENTATIVE TODAY

  

Today is Election Day for choosing who will be the new Texas House District 13 Representative, a seat vacated by Lois Kolkhorst after she won her election to the Texas Senate last November.

Vying for the District 13 seat are three Republicans, former Austin County Judge Carolyn Bilski, Schulenberg businesswoman Becky Berger, and Caldwell Attorney Leighton Shubert, and one Democrat, retired Army veteran Cecil Webster from Carmine.

Voting Hours are from 7am to 7pm, and County Clerk Beth Rothermel wants to remind voters that polling places this year are consolidated, , and if there is a voter having difficulty getting into their polling place, voting officials will be available for you to do a curbside vote.
