GRIMES COUNTY JUDGE VOICES SUPPORT FOR 249 TOLL ROAD

  

Grimes County Judge Ben Leman is now acknowledging his support for the Highway 249 Toll Road, despite Grimes County Commissioners voting four to one for a resolution to oppose the road.

Leman says he thinks that the road will be eventually built, and he says that TXDOT’S new plan to spend $2 million dollars on feeder roads would end up being a benefit for Grimes County. He expressed his disappointment of the commissioner’s vote.
