STATE SWIM MEET UNDERWAY

The UIL 5A State Swim meet began on Friday with preliminary rounds. Brenham Cub Hudson Smith qualified for the state finals in the 200 IM with a 1st place finish in a time of 1:51.7, the 100 Breast Stroke in 1:51.37 (1st place) and also the 400 Free Relay finished 10th in 3:18.07. The Relay team consists of Hudson Smith, Todd Jahns, Jacob Pyle and Jarrett Sumbera. 

Saturday will be the finals in all events and the Cub swimmers will be competing for state titles beginning at 3:30pm.
