TWO ARRESTED IN WALKER COUNTY BURGLARIES

  

Two people were arrested after they tried to burglarize a home and business in Walker County.

Arrested was 41-year old Christy Dawn Goodie of Brenham and 31-year old Justin Michael Ray.

According to police, the couple entered the Texas Made Trailer Parts around 4:10pm Sunday on Badger Lane in Huntsville, and held the owner and his wife at gunpoint, tied the victims to their chairs, and drove off with their vehicle.

The suspects, who were known to the victims, stole a laptop computer, the victim’s cellphones, car, and the keys to their residence.

The couple was able to free themselves, and they were able to call the police, and police found Ray and Goodie burglarize the owner’s house. After a brief struggle, both suspects were apprehended.

Both are now facing three charges of Aggravated Robbery, a first degree felony, Burglary of a Residence, a Second Degree Felony, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, a state jail felony. Ray was also charged with resisting arrest, search or transport.
