ONE ARRESTED ON TRAVIS COUNTY WARRANTS

  

Cpl. Seth Klehm conducted a traffic stop in the 4800 block of US 290 East on Friday, around 2:47 pm, and after making contact with the driver, thirty-one year old Michael Roland Espinosa, of Del Valle, Klehm noticed loose marijuana in the vehicle.

The driver was found to have four active warrants out of Travis County and marijuana was located in the car.

Both Klehm and Sgt. Lloyd Powell asked the subject if he had anything illegal in his possession, which he denied.

He was asked again by jail personnel and again denied having anything illegal in his possession.

During a search by jail personnel, the subject was found to have hydrocodone tablets in his possession.

The warrants were for failure to appear/bail jumping and driving while license invalid.

Espinosa was charged with Possession of Marijuana in a detention Facility, Four Active Warrants, Driving While License Invalid with Previous Convictions.
