BRENHAM WOMAN ARRESTED
A Brenham woman faces drug possession charges after her arrest Thursday night.
Just after 11:30, Brenham Police Sgt. Curtiss Schoen saw a vehicle at Hohlt Park with a female doubled over by the back bumper.
The woman, identified as 19-year old Alyssa Zuniga of Brenham, said she was feeling sick.
Schoen discovered a baggy containing illegal mushrooms. Zuniga also handed Schoen a cigar package containing marijuana.
Zuniga is charged with Possession of marijuana under 2 oz in a drug free zone and Possession of a controlled substance over 1 gram and under 4.
