FAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT
Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports on Sunday morning around 6:25 am the Fayette county Sheriff’s office received a 911 call reporting an unknown fire of FM 155 near Ronnie Rd.
The LaGrange Fire Department was notified and responded to the scene along with Deputies Garrett Durrenberger and Marc Bennett. The fire was located on Ronnie Rd. and was a structure fire heavily engulfed.
The LaGrange Fire Department requested assistance from the Schulenburg Fire Department who responded and assisted. Fayette County EMS Medic Unit 1 also responded to the scene.
The fire was contained and extinguished and there were no reported Injuries.
The cause of the fire was believed to be started by lightning.
