BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED FOR TAMPERING WITH EVIDENCE

A Brenham man faces a Tampering with Physical Evidence charge after his arrest early Wednesday morning.

Officer Sierra Newell pulled over a vehicle in the 1700 block of North Park Street just before 3:00 a.m.

When she met with the driver, Newell says she could smell marijuana.

During the conversation with the driver, 23-year old Conrado Salas of Brenham, he admitted to having eaten a small amount of marijuana.

Salas was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail.

  1. i always hear people with there comments about “these kids in brenham, and drug issues here” But yet i was raised here and now raising my kids here and i have yet to see anyone open a spot for teenagers to go. Stop putting down these kids and expecting them to enjoy the same places we did as kids.

  2. if you’re going to be doing illegal things don’t be the only person driving on the road at three in the morning getting pulled over for a traffic violation which leads to a more serious charge.

    1. They wont learn, they will just continue, giving everyone grief and concern – especially their parents!

      1. at least it was just marijuana. could have been meth seeing that is a big problem in our community

      2. People like this guy need to be made an example of. My reasoning for this is because our good ole town of Brenham is starting to be known as a drug town. All you hear in this town is “Brenham is boring” blah blah blah. So what do these people do to make Brenham “fun” drugs yeah that’s great reasoning.
