BISD LOOKS AT 2015 STAAR AND EOC TEST RESULTS

  

The Brenham School Board reviewed preliminary STAAR and End of Course test scores at their Monday meeting.  Bonnie Brinkmeyer, Director of Instruction and Accountability for the District, stated that the State has not set a passing standard yet on the math testing, so those scores are not available.  Brinkmeyer explains how Brenham students performed on the other tests this year:

In May, the Texas Legislature passed a bill that gave an alternative to students who did not pass one or more End of Course exams at the High School level, but otherwise were eligible to graduate.  Brinkmeyer explains:

Brinkmeyer said she expects to have a more extensive report as more data comes in for the next school board meeting.
