BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT

  

On Monday, the Brenham Fire Department was dispatched to 4001 State Highway 36 around 2pm for an automatic fire alarm at the Brenham State Supported Living Center. BFD responders found that a fire drill was being conducted at the facility without properly notifying the alarm company of the drill.

Also on Monday, the Brenham Fire Department was dispatched to the area of Ewing St. and W Blue Bell Rd. around 3:15 pm for smoke in the area. BFD responders found a BBQ smoker was being used. No action was taken.

The fire department was dispatched to 901 N. Park St to Fireman’s Park around 4:30pm for a small fire under the bridge. BFD responders extinguished a small fire. There was no damage to the bridge. The cause of the fire is under investigation by BFD’s Fire Marshal’s office.
