AUSTIN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATING SUICIDE IN COUNTY

  

The Austin County Sheriff’s Office on Monday,at approximately 8:00 a.m responded to a call in the 8400 block of N.E. I-10 Frontage Road in Sealy, to a subject threatening to commit suicide.

Responding deputies located a blue Toyota Tundra pickup shortly afterwards, as described by the caller threatening to commit suicide at that location.

Once on location, responding deputies located a subject that was deceased from a single gunshot wound.

The deceased was identified as twenty-seven year old Ashlan Oneil Jeffers, of Baytown.

Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 Bernice Burger performed the inquest.

This case is still under investigation and no further information available at this time.
