BURLESON CO. SHOOTING SUSPECT FOUND DEAD
The suspect in the shooting of two people in Burleson County has been found dead.
52-year-old Jack Ray of Somerville, was found dead Friday morning in a home on FM-60. An autopsy has been ordered.
The two victims, Mary Jo Ray and her brother Bill Miller, were not critically injured. Both were taken to St. Joseph hospital in Bryan. Ray was discharged earlier this (Friday) morning and Miller is listed in fair condition.
Mary Jo Ray is the estranged wife of Jack Ray—known to his friends as “Tebo”.
The Burleson County Sheriff’s Office says it responded to a call about a domestic disturbance just after 10:00 p.m. Thursday, at a home on White Oak St. in the Somerville Place subdivision.
When deputies arrived, they found Mary Jo Ray and Miller had been shot,
DPS Troopers, Burleson County Constables and Somerville Police assisted with the search.
