FAYETTE COUNTY ARREST TWO BRENHAM TEENS

  

Two Brenham men were arrested on Wednesday at the Swiss Alp Dance Hall in Fayette County on alcohol and drug charges.

Sheriff Korenek reports that Sheriff’s Deputies were working security at the weekly dance event when two subjects were observed frequenting a vehicle at various times during the night.

Deputies Marc Bennett and Rick Bohlmann observed these two males approach the vehicle and noticed they appeared to have been drinking. Deputies contacted these subjects and later discovered they were under the legal drinking age and were in possession of not only liquor but also a small amount of Marijuana.  Both subjects along with a 15 year old juvenile were taken into custody.

The adult suspects were later transported to the Fayette County Justice Center and booked on the charges. The juvenile subject was later released at the scene to a family member.

Arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Minor in Consumption of Alcohol was 19 year old Travis Colby Gurka of Brenham, and 19 year old Edwardo Rodriguez of Brenham who was charged with Public Intoxication.
