Bluebonnet’s general manager Mark Rose says they are “…thrilled to have received so many applications for the program,” and that their staff and board of directors are ready to, “…get to work evaluating the applications and awarding the first round of grants later this year.”
Bluebonnet will donate $3 million to nonprofit groups within the co-op’s service area over the next three years.
This is the first grant cycle for the program. The total amount requested this grant cycle is $7.78 million.
