BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT

  

On Wednesday, the Brenham Fire Department responded to three different incidences.At 8:45am , the Brenham Fire Department responded to 2202 S. Chappell Hill St., Schubert Sheet Metal, for an automatic fire alarm.  While en route dispatch advised the alarm company called back to cancel the response, false alarm.

At 11:45am, the BFD responded to 906 Blinn Blvd. for an automatic fire alarm.  Upon arrival, BFD was met by Blinn College PD and they advised the alarm had malfunctioned.

And shortly after noon, the BFD responded to 4001 State Highway 36 S., Brenham State Supported Living Center, for an automatic fire alarm.  Upon arrival and after investigation, BFD found that an employee had burned popcorn in the microwave setting off the alarm.  The alarm was reset and BFD returned to service.
