HALL FOUND GUILTY OF MURDER

A College Station man has been found guilty Friday of killing a retired Texas A&M professor.
After three-and a half hours of deliberations, a Brazos County jury convicted 22-year old Gabriel Hall of capital murder in the death of Edwin Shaar.
Hall was accused of attacking Shaar and his wife Linda in the couple’s home in October of 2011.
The jury of eight women and four men got the case Friday morning after closing arguments.
The punishment phase of the trial begins Monday. Hall faces life in prison without parole or the death penalty.
