TWO SHOPLIFTING ARRESTS MADE SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Two people face charges in two separate cases of shoplifting from a local store, Sunday.
Sunday around noon, Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer was called out to WalMart on Highway 290.
Store security had detained a man they claim had tried to take nearly $600 worth of various items.
29-year old Jonathan Blake Fojtik of Brenham is charged with theft.

Shortly after 3:00, Cpl. Seth Klehm and Dudenhoeffer were dispatched to WalMart to another shoplifting.
Security told them four females had taken some items and left in a blue Saturn, east-bound on Highway-290.
A short time later, police pulled over the vehicle at the 1000 block of 290 West.
Arrested and charged with Theft was 19-year old Diamond Janae Washington of Katy.
Police say they recovered $256 worth of items, mostly cosmetics, believed taken from WalMart.
Other charges may be filed.
