BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT

  

On Tuesday, the Brenham Fire Department was dispatched at 10:42 am for an automatic fire alarm at SCA Packaging located at 1906 Longwood Dr. After investigation it was found that there was a malfunction with the alarm system.

A short time later, the Brenham Fire Department was dispatched to a transportation incident with entrapment around noon at 5400 State Highway 36 N.

One injured patient was entrapped on the passenger side of the vehicle. BFD responders removed the passenger side door then pushed the dash away from the patient with hydraulic rescue equipment. BFD members assisted Washington County EMS to remove the patient from the vehicle.

Then shortly after that, around 12:30pm, the Brenham Fire Department was dispatched to 2350 S Day St. for an automatic fire alarm at Comfort Suites. The alarm company received proper code to cancel alarm and the alarm was cancelled before BFD units arrived.
