MILAM CO. TROOPER INJURED AFTER CRASH

  

A crash in Milam County left a trooper with minor injuries.

Trooper, Ernest del Bosque was patrolling Highway 79 Friday night and traveling 40 miles per hour when 22 year old Jose Almaraz-Valdivia of Rockdale ran into the back of del Bosque’s patrol car. Almaraz-Valdivia was speeding at about 80 miles per hour.

Trooper del Bosque is sore but doing well with no serious injuries after being checked out at a local hospital.

The speed limit on the area of 79 where the crash occurred is 70 miles per hour. Almaraz-Valdivia was charged with driving while intoxicated as well distribution to a minor. He is currently out on a $3,500 bond.
