FAYETTE COUNTY DRUG ARREST

  

A Bastrop resident was arrested early Saturday morning in Fayette County.

Around 2am Saturday morning, Fayette County Deputy, Michael Otten, was on a routine patrol on Bartons Creek Road near the Kirtley area when he approached a suspicious vehicle parked on an oil field entry driveway. The individuals did not have reason to be on location.

After the driver, 22 year old Adrian Leonard Gonzales of Bastrop, gave consent to search the vehicle, marijuana, 12 bars of Xanax, and a small baggie which tested positive for methamphetamine were located inside.

Gonzales was arrested and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
