BRENHAM STUDENTS ADVANCE TO INVITATIONAL LEGO COMPETITION
A group of Brenham School students are using a toy to explore science and apply it into their daily lives.
The 6th grade students competed in First Lego League with this year’s theme being Trash Trek. Teams had to identify a problem with the way trash is handled, come up with a solution, and then share both the problem and solution they came up with.
Teams are judged based on the robot design and game, as well as the project itself and core values. After a qualifying competition in December with 24 teams competing for 8 spots at the Central Texas FLL Invitational, Brenham advanced.
The invitational will be held Saturday at the John B. Connally High School in Austin.
