POLICE MAKE FOUR MARIJUANA ARRESTS OVER THE WEEKEND

  

Brenham Police made a number of arrests over the weekend for Possession of Marijuana.

Friday morning at 10:30, Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer conducted a traffic stop in the intersection of Independence and Oak Streets.

During the stop, one of the passengers, 18-year old Kenderious Marquice Thomas was found with marijuana.  Thomas is charged with Possession under 2 ounces.

Saturday morning, Cpl. Tommy Kurie conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Highway 290 East.

Kurie says he could small marijuana, and duing a search marijuana was found.

24-year old Ivan Andres Escauriza of Houston is charged with Possession of marijuana.

Also Saturday morning, Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Highway 290 East.

Dudenhoeffer says he could smell marijuana coming from the car and found some during a search.

22-year old Blake McCarthy LaBlanc, of Brenham, was charged with Possession of marijuana.

Sunday afternoon, Cpl. Tommy Kurie conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Highway 290 East.

The driver, 20-year old Melvin Jeffrey Dalton of Kingwood admitted to having marijuana.

Dalton is charged with Possession of marijuana.
