FAYETTE COUNTY TRAFFIC STOP ENDS IN DRUG ARREST
During the early morning hours on Monday Fayette County Deputy Casey Thumann conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling east on Business 71 near the FM 609 intersection for failure to dim headlights when meeting oncoming traffic.
During the duration of the traffic stop it was found that the driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver’s license. Further investigation by Thumann led to narcotics being located in the vehicle consisting of marijuana, methamphetamines, and heroin.
29 year old David Bush of Buda was arrested and charged with possession of these drugs. Bond on all charges was set at a total $19,500.
