AUSTIN COUNTY HOSTS SMALL FARMS AND VEGETABLE CONFERENCE

  

A Small Farms and Vegetable Conference is scheduled for tomorrow morning at Cat Spring Ag Society Hall sponsored by the Horticulture Committee of Austin County.

Registration for the conference will take place from 8:30am to 9:00am with the program following and ending around 3:00pm. Lunch will be served and there will also be several built-in snack breaks.

The program will focus on topics such as: Herb Production, Back to Basics Gardening, Pesticide Laws and Regulations, Blackberry Production, and Mole and Gopher Control.

There will be 5 CEU’s offered to pesticide applicators, 3 hours in General, 1 IPM and 1 Laws and Regulations.
