UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS INCREASES TUITION

  

The University of Texas has increased tuition and plans to increase it again. Currently, students are paying $4,903 per semester. Academic charges for UT undergraduates will go up by $152 a semester and another $152 in the fall of 2017. This increase was approved on Monday with a 5-3 vote by the university’s board. The total increase in tuition by 2017 will be 6.2% bringing tuition to $5,207 per semester.

The UT System Board of Regents also approved of increase tuition at its seven other academic campuses as well as five of their health campuses.
