CITIZENS ON PATROL PROGRAM SWEARS IN 13

  

21 members of Brenham Police Department’s Citizens on Patrol program participated in training on handicap parking enforcement recently. On Wednesday, 13 people were sworn in by Municipal Court Judge Robert Wright.

The COPs will be providing information to the department in reference to vehicles parked in handicap parking spaces without the proper identification. Violators will receive a written warning; a second violation may result in a citation being issued and a $517 fine assessed.
