BLINN COLLEGE HOSTS SPECIAL OPEN HOUSE

  

Blinn College is inviting art lovers to enjoy a hands-on look at its Art Department during a special open-house event being held tomorrow (Saturday).

Hosted at the C.F. Schmidt Building on the Blinn-Brenham campus, “Come Play and Create a Future: A Day in the Arts” will take place from 11:00am to 1:00pm and will include brunch, a guided tour of the campus art facilities and the opportunity for visitors to create their own art with paint and clay.

Blinn music students will perform as a flute ensemble, and art students will be on hand to demonstrate what they have learned in Blinn art classes, including their work with clay, paints and even jewelry design and creation.

This event is part of a drive to fund 15 endowed scholarships for art students on the Blinn-Brenham campus
