WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ENTER INTO TOWING ROTATION LOG

  

The Washington County Commissioners Court approved of entering into contracts for participation in the Washington County Rotation Log for Towing Services. The contract will run for 7 months from May 1st through December 31st. The price per rotation log was set at $500 but commission denied this price with Commissioner Hueske being the lone yes vote. A price of $250 per rotation log was eventually unanimously agreed on and passed. Commissioners also appointed Constable Ken Holley as an administrator of the towing contract. He was approved but not without Commissioner Hanath voting no.

The retail development incentive guidelines for Brenham/Washington County were also approved with Commissioner Hanath being the lone no vote.

Court also released a lien on a property of 8.702 acres located at 17365 FM 912 in Precinct 1 during their meeting this morning (Tuesday) because a person had come forward to pay.

A formal notice for a proposed buried utility line on N. Berlin Road for PGMS-Central Washington County Water Supply Corp. in precinct 3 was approved after the line broke during the storms.

Commissioners Court approved accounts payable and fairgrounds contracts for a quinceanera, 2017 cutting horse, a flea market, and a graduation party.
