WEST ANNOUNCES “B A MENTOR” PROGRAM
Brenham High School football coach and athletic director Glen West has announced a new program to help young athletes with no male presence in their lives.
The initial meeting of the “B a Mentor” program will be Monday night at the High School.
According to Coach West, there are a large number of Brenham High School athletes who do not have a male influence, or “mentor” in their lives.
According to West, this will not be a one-on-one mentoring program, but a group effort to provide a positive male influence on the athletes’ lives.
Monday’s meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. at the Kruse Field House at Brenham High School.
