BURLESON COUNTY HOSTS RELAY FOR LIFE

  

Burleson County will host “Relay for Life” starting off this evening (Fridray) in order to benefit the American Cancer Society.

The 2016 Relay for Life Burleson County will be held at Davidson Creek Part from 7:00pm to 1:00am.

The Opening ceremony to kick-off the celebration of life will begin at 7:00pm with the survivors lap following at 7:30p. Cancer survivors will take the first lap around the track as a celebration of their victory over cancer. Immediately following the survivors lap will be the caregivers’ lap where anyone who has cared for someone with cancer walks a special lap so they can be honored as well.

A candlelight Luminaria ceremony to remember loved ones lost and in support of those currently fighting will be had at 10:00pm. Closing ceremony will be held at 1:00am.
