TWO ARRESTED AFTER ATTEMPTED BREAK-IN

A Brenham man and woman face charges after their arrests Tuesday morning.
23-year old Ryan Jay Jasso is charged with Burglary of a Habitation and a Bond Forfeiture warrant while 27-year old Erika Ramirez-Olea is charged with five outstanding warrants for traffic violations.
Tuesday morning around 10:00, Cpl. Jared Campbell responded to the 2300 block of US 290 West to a burglary in progress.

The caller said a man was trying to get into a window at his residence. Officers found footprints and a broken window but no suspect.
The caller identified the suspect as Jasso, who they said ran off when officers arrived. The caller also said he believed the suspect had run to the trailer next door.
Officers located Jasso at that trailer and arrest him.
Dispatch also confirmed Ramirez, the owner of the trailer, had outstanding warrants from Municipal Court on traffic violations. She was also arrested.
