So sorry for this beautiful place. I lived there briefly in the 80’s and I still say it is God’s country. So beautiful there 365 days a year. I pray for everyone to recover from this.
Pure devastation listening to all calls for help on my scanner all day and night..I have the utmost respect and filled with honour for ALL our police, fireman, volunteers etc who worked endlessly through the day and night to rescue all in need..may God bless you for your courage and THANK YOU…hearts and prayers go out for those missing
Don’t forget Washington County EMS! The most well trained and best service in the state!
Thanks to good strangers for their hospitality while I waited overnight for flood waters to record so I could get home. Strangers no more!
Prayers for all affected. On behalf of Southwest Louisiana, our hearts are heavy for the souls lost. Be careful all of you.
God Bless this wonderful city as they deal with this flooding. Heartfelt condolences to those who lost loved ones. It is so astounding how first responders and citizens come together in times like this. I know Brenham people are special, because I have lived there and had first hand experience.
This is SUCH SAD NEWS to hear!!!I heard rescue and police all day and night and prayed each time that they would be able to assist whom ever they were going to help and return safely their selves. GOD BLESS BRENHAM & ALL OUR RESIDENTS. I am so sorry for the person that has past, hopefully they are walking through heaven now with God! I also would like to pray that they are able to locate the other two individuals safely. Amen
Is Highway 36 open from Brenham to FM 390?
