THREE HOUSTON MEN ARRESTED IN FAYETTE COUNTY FOR AGGRAVATED ROBBERY

  

Three men from Houston have been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery in Fayette County.

28 year old, Juan Jose Vasqueaz, 39 year old, Jose Israel Licona, and 24 year old, Luis Edgardo Gomez are being held on a one million dollar bond each for aggravated robbery.

A 911 call was received Friday evening around 6:00pm of a male armed with a gun trying to chase down a worker at a chicken house off of Old Smithville Road. As officers were en route it was reported that a male on location had been shot multiple times.

Once arrived, law enforcement gathered information that three Hispanic males had fled and a witness was able to get a picture of the car as well as a license plate. A “bolo” (be on the lookout) was issue and law enforcement in the Katy area were made aware of this incident and the vehicle information as it was believed the suspects may be headed to Houston.

The suspects’ car was found in Katy and pulled over. The three men were taken into custody and arrested on warrants after investigations concluded and the victim was taken by EMS to Austin for further treatment

The motive for this crime is currently believed to be money owed to the individuals.
