COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO CONSIDER CONTRACT WITH KOLKHORST PETROLEUM

  

The Washington County Commissioners will consider amendment 1 of the existing contract between Washington County and Kolkhorst Petroleum Co. Inc. for providing liquid fuel at the fleet-station/pump in order to reflect the purchase of Kolkhorst Petroleum by Stripes LLC. Amendment 1 is also being considered to reflect the agreement for Stripes to continue to provide fuel to the County at the agreed price.

The first amendment to the Advanced Community Paramedicine Services Agreement between College Station Hospital, L.P., College Station Medical Center, and the Washington County Department of Emergency Medical Services will be discussed in order to expand the scope of the ACP program and to reflect the goals of the program.

Commissioners will consider closing Cedar Street east from FM 1155, 500 yards before the Chappell Hill Historical Society’s Circulating Library for the Chappell Hill Annual Independence Day Parade on July 4th from 7:00am to noon. Cedar Street west from FM 1155 to FM 2447 and Poplar Street from FM 1155 to Church Street are also being considered for closing for the parade.

Many monthly reports will be given including, the Sheriff’s office, Washington County 911, County Information Technology, Emergency Medical Services, and the Veteran’s Service Officer.

A donation for Washington County Flood Recovery is expected to be approved. The payment of that donation would be given to Faith Mission for assisting flood victims. Also expected to be approved, a formal notice for a proposed buried utility line on Hartstack and Homeyer Mountain roads in precinct 4, pending fairgrounds contacts and accounts payable.

The Washington County Commissioners Court will meet this morning (Tuesday) at 9:00am at the Washington County Courthouse.
