FEMA: CITIZENS CAN STILL FILE FOR ASSISTANCE
FEMA officials are reminding the public that as Disaster Recovery Centers close, others are opening.
FEMA spokesperson Rita Egan says there seems to be a misconception that people are relegated to the center in their immediate area. Egan says citizens can go to any center and get their questions answered or discuss their case.
Egan says damage victims can even cross state lines and can call the toll free number or go on line ask the question or update their case, or visits any center that’s open.
