COMMUNITY LEADER GLADYS HOGAN DIES AT 100
Funeral services will be held Sunday for a long-time educator and Brenham city leader.
Gladys Hogan died earlier this week. She was 100.
Hogan was a teacher for many years at Pickard High School, then served 18 years on the Brenham School Board. She was later appointed to the Blinn College Board of Trustees.
She was the co-owner and manager of Hogan Funeral Home in Brenham.
She was also a member of numerous community and professional organizations, locally and statewide.
In 1996, Hogan was named the Washington County Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 at St. John AME Church on East Main St.
The family will receive visitors Saturday from 5-to-7:00 p.m. at Hogan Funeral Home on West Alamo.
