FLOATS-N-FLICKS HAPPENING THURSDAY
With summertime quickly coming to an end, it’s time to cool down and kick back with Floats-n-Flicks this Thursday, August 4th at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center. This week’s movie will be Disney’s The Good Dinosaur.
The Blue Bell Aquatic center welcomes guest to bring their floats and lawn chairs. The gates for the free event will open at 7 p.m. and the movie is scheduled to begin 10 minutes after sunset. Concessions will be available for purchase.
The popular event is part of a series put on by the City of Brenham Community Services department called “Movies in the Park”. The Float-N-Flicks event is one of the most popular and well attended in the series put on in the summer.
Thursday night’s movie, “The Good Dinosaur” is sponsored by Brianna’s Fine Salad Dressing. The Movies in the Park series is presented this summer by Progressive Waste Solutions, the City of Brenham, and by radio stations KTEX 106 AND KWHI 1280.
