BEDIAS MAN SENTENCED FOR BURGLARY
A Bedias man has been found guilty of burglary of habitation in Grimes County’s 12th District Court.
Following a two day trial, on Thursday Judge Donald Kraemer found Josh Stubblefield of Bedias guilty of burglarizing a home in Bedias in November of 2015. Stubblefield, who had previously been convicted of burglary of a habitation, forgery and possession of a controlled substance, was sentenced to 40 years in prison. A surveillance camera at the residence captured video of Stubblefield stealing a dirt bike, tools and computer equipment. Later he pawned some of the stolen items at a Madisonville pawn shop.
