TEEA TO HOLD OFFICER INSTALLATION AND RECRUITMENT

The Texas Extension Education Association is holding an open house on Thursday, August 11th.

The event will be held at Blinn College in the Banquet Room from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Drinks and refreshments will be provided and an officer installation will take place.

It’s an opportunity for residents to find out how to help the community through TEEA. The association works with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service to strengthen families through educational programs, leadership development, and community service.

The TEEA of Washington County also provides services to many organizations in the community including: New Beginnings Ministries, Brenham State Supported Living Center, Local Food Banks, and many others. The association provides scholarships to youth involved in 4-H.
