STUFF THE BUS AND PROJECT BACKPACK HAPPENING TODAY AND FRIDAY

  

The “Stuff the Bus” and “Project Backpack” are back and offering the community an opportunity to provide some aid to area students and families.

The “Stuff the Bus” program is designed to collect school supplies for youth experiencing homelessness or extreme hardships throughout Washington County. Donations of school supplies of any kind can be made today (Thursday) by visiting Durham School Services located at 507 E 6th St, Brenham from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

Donations on Friday can be dropped off at Walmart Supercenter located at 203 US-290, Brenham from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

“Project Backpack” is also underway to collect backpacks for local students in need. New, empty backpacks can be dropped in collection boxes at Bank of Brenham, Citizens State Bank, and Brenham National Bank during normal banking hours.
