LADY LIONS DONATE BLANKETS TO SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

  

The Washington County Lady Lions Club donated blankets to the Washington County Sheriff’s Department on Friday as part of their continuing mission of providing blankets for children in need.

Members donate quilts throughout the year to be available for children who find themselves in a situation where they need a security blanket for comfort and warmth.

The Washington County Lady Lions Club will meet today at noon at the Cannery Kitchen in downtown Brenham. They will host the past International Director and current Texas Ambassador for Lions Club International, Joe Al Picone, as the featured speaker. The public is invited, and reservations are not required.
