WASHINGTON CO. TO TAKE PART IN INDIGENT HEALTH CARE PROGREAM

  

Washington County is once again taking part in the Indigent Health Care Program.

The program is set to begin on Thursday, September 1st. It will mark the 31st year that the program has taken place under the Texas Indigent Health Care and Treatment Act. Indigent residents are encouraged to apply for the program.

To qualify for the program, applicants must be residents of Washington County. They must also fill out an application form (assistance is provided), use approved physicians, and must furnish information and documents that verify residency, income, resources and size of their family.
