MONARCH BUTTERFLY WORKSHOP TODAY

  

A workshop session for children to explore the life-cycle and migration of the Monarch butterfly on will be held today at the Washington on the Brazos State Historic Site.

The class will include a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities, all geared toward children from the age of 6 to 12 years old. It will be a hands-on and lively adventure as children follow the Monarch butterfly from egg to caterpillar to butterfly.

The workshop is hosted by the Gideon Lincecum Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists. It will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
