NATIONAL NIGHT OUT SET FOR OCTOBER 4TH

  

National Night-Out Texas style is set for Tuesday, Oct. 4th. This year’s theme, “Back in Blue”, is designed to show support for law enforcement.

National Night Out is way for officers to get out in the neighborhoods and meet residents. It was started years ago to build partnerships between citizens and police to combat and prevent crime. Cpl. Chris Jackson says that this is one of the department’s favorite functions of the year. He went on to say that “… this past year has been a tough one for those of us in law enforcement, and we need our community’s support more than ever.”
