AUSTIN COUNTY JR. FAIR QUEEN NAMED
The Austin County Fair got underway Wednesday in Bellville.
During the festivities, Jordyn Davilla was crowned the 2016 Austin County Jr. Fair Queen. The 1st Runner-up was Emma Lischka and 2nd Runner-up Emily Askew.
Samantha Marik was named the 2016 Jr. Miss. The 1st Runner-up was Paris Flowers and 2nd Runner-up was Olivia Johnson.
The Jr. Mister was awarded to Logan Schalla, with the 1st Runner-up as Daren Lee Duebbe and 2nd Runner-up as Owen Swartz.
Kenadie Kaye was named Austin County Fair Little Miss. The 1st Runner-up was Blake Hursch and 2nd Runner-up was Payton Wolff.
Knox Farley was named Little Mister. The 1st Runner-up was Jaxon Herring and 2nd Runner-up was Hunter Herring.
The Austin County Fair will continue today (Thursday) with the parade which will begin at 10:00 a.m. Spectators can view the parade as it winds around the square in Bellville and down Highway 159 to the Fairgrounds. KTEX’s Cactus Ken will be there in the Country Cruiser.
The Queen’s Contest will take place at 5:30 p.m. Live entertainment for tonight includes Josh Ward and Shane Smith & the Saints.
