SWEET-TOWN DOWNTOWN GINGERBREAD AUCTION TONIGHT

  

Gingerbread houses that have been on display all over downtown Brenham this week will be sold tonight (Tuesday) during a live and silent auction.

The Sweet-Town Downtown Gingerbread House Tour and Auction will come to a close tonight at the Barnhill Center with a chili dinner. Jennifer Eckermann, from Main Street Brenham, says there are nineteen houses for sale:

The houses were placed in participating stores this past week including:

• Tres Chic- gingerbread house from Terry Meaux
• Woman’s Cave- gingerbread house by Lauren Herzog and Jaycee Seago
• Visitor center at the Barnhill Center- gingerbread house by Washington on the Brazos
• Puppy Dawgs and Cat Tails- gingerbread house by Zionsville 4-H
• Homesweet Farm- presenting their own gingerbread house
• ReMax Advantage- gingerbread house by Logan Boeker
• Yumm’s Sweets and Eats- gingerbread house by St. Pauls 1st and 4th graders
• Dona Lynn’s Unique Gifts- presenting their own gingerbread house
• Ant Street Inn- gingerbread house by Alexis Branton Kountry Boys Sausage
• Must Be Heaven- gingerbread house by LaRoche Dentistry
• The Pomegranate- house by Anissa Talmore
• Anatomy Boutique- gingerbread house by Jordan and Sierra Kelm
• Hermann Furniture – house by Seidel Schroeder
• The Book Nook- gingerbread house by Austin Morisak
• Day Star Christian Book Store- house by Clay Boeker
• Bluebird Off the Square- gingerbread house by Merrick Bradford
• Sassafras Boutique- house by Grady Burch
• Park Street Bakery – gingerbread house by Altman Dentistry

The silent and live auction will take place at the Bullock Ballroom at the Barnhill Center at the Historic Simon Theatre at 5:30 p.m. The event feature a chili dinner, martinis, and a host of other refreshments. All funds raised from the event go to downtown Brenham improvement projects.
