MAIFEST CONTINUES WITH JUNIOR CORONATION, CARNIVAL

  

The Maifest festivities go in to full swing tonight (Friday) with the Junior Coronation.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Fireman’s Park.

KWHI will have live updates from the Maifest grounds beginning at 1:30 p.m. today.

The Junior Coronation will take place at 7 p.m. and will feature children participating in an elaborate outdoor ceremony. The entertainment will center around the presentation of the Junior King and Queen- Samuel Clepper and Victoria Taylor Dippel.

Throughout the evening live bands will be playing on Fireman’s Park main stage including The Risky Liver Band, Steven Marshall, and the Blue Grooves.

There will also be plenty of food as well as “German soda water” and wine at the Biergarten and Winegartens.

The Mighty Thomas Carnival will be open from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. tonight.
