MAIFEST CELEBRATIONS CONTINUE WITH JUNIOR CORONATION

  

Samuel Clepper and Victoria Dippel were crowned King and Queen Friday night at the 127th Junior Coronation.

The pageant, which included hundreds of costumed participants, was themed “Ticket to Ride”.

"I'm so tired, but it has been so much fun" said Dippel. She unveiled her mermaid themed dress, train, and mantel during the ceremony.

"I just want to thank everyone who has participated" said Clepper. "It has been just great." Clepper opted for a jedi themed costume.

Attendees also enjoyed live music, which featured some of Texas’ best new talent- including Steven Marshall, The Blue Grooves, and The Risky Liver Band.

The festivities continue this (Saturday) morning with the 127th Maifest Parade.
