HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED AFTER LOCAL THEFT

A Houston man is charged with stealing a cellphone from a worker at Scott & White Hospital in Brenham.
Just before 5:00 Tuesday afteroon, a worker told Officer Joseph Perez that while she was working, she left the desk and when she returned, her cellphone was missing.
Authorities discovered that 23-year old Raymond Anthony Lara of Houston had taken the phone from the woman’s desk.
Lara was found in another part of the hospital and taken into custody.
Lara is charged with Theft Between $750-and-$2500.
