BTU COPTER HOVERING OVER BURLESON CO.
Residents of Brazos and Burleson counties may notice a low-flying aircraft hovering over the area.
Bryan Texas Utilities (BTU) is conducting an aerial inspection of various elements of its power system throughout Brazos and Burleson counties, Friday and Saturday.
The helicopter is run by a contractor that was hired to complete the annual inspection of parts of the BTU transmission system.
According to BTU, the work is part of an overall preventative maintenance program and effort to enhance the company's electric system reliability.
